I believe that the main reason for such a large turnover in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Clubs are due to students feeling like they are not getting better. They feel as if they are always getting smashed and beaten. Well students let me tell you that this is part of the learning process. Mat time, and not given up is the key to becoming a better Brazilian Jiu Jitsu student. You are going to get smashed a lot in the Club. You are just going to have to learn to deal with it.
